RULES AND REGULATIONS

Red Light Green Light

  1. Those who participate will have a mark drawn on their left thumbnail with a permanent marker to confirm their participation.
  2. Volunteers will be stationed around the participants to monitor their movements.
  3. When the Gamemaster announces “Red Light” on the microphone, he will turn to face the participants, and they must freeze completely. Any movement, even slightly, will result in elimination.
  4. Once the Gamemaster turns his back toward the participants and announces “Green Light” , they may move forward.
  5. Those who cross the finish line within the designated time will qualify for the second game.
  6. Sabotaging (e.g., pushing others during the “Red Light” phase) will result in immediate elimination.
  7. The names of 15 participants will be listed for leader selection in the second game.
  8. If a large number of participants pass this round, a second stage of the same game may be held with increased difficulty (e.g., a shorter time limit).
  9. Winners of the first game will be given a ribbon as a symbol of passing the round.
  10. The Gamemaster holds the authority to alter the game flow (e.g., saying “Red Light” twice in a row, shortening the “Green Light” phase, or extending the “Red Light” phase).

Tug Of War

  1. The number of teams and team members will be decided on the spot.
  2. Team leaders will be selected based on the rankings from the first round.
  3. After the leaders are selected, they will stand in a circle and choose their teammates one by one in a clockwise direction.
  4. If the number of teams is even and each team has an equal number of members, the game can proceed.
  5. If the number of teams is even but there's still a participant left, he or she will either join the team that appears the weakest or may be eliminated. (Alternatively, an even number of participants can be chosen from the first round to avoid this issue—this decision is up to the Gamemaster.)
  6. Both teams will stand on opposite sides behind the designated line on the ground. They may choose their preferred formation. Once all participants have taken a firm grip on the rope, the Gamemaster will announce “GO!” and the game will begin.
  7. The team whose frontmost member’s feet cross the line first will be eliminated. The opposing team will qualify for the third game.
  8. Winners of this round will receive a ribbon of a different color.
  9. A number will be written on the thumbnail of their right hand using a permanent marker.

Stone Throwing

  1. Depending on the number of remaining participants, the number of players advancing to the 4th round will be decided on the spot.
  2. Instead of stones, 5 tennis balls and a basket will be used for this round.
  3. Participants will line up according to their assigned numbers behind a line on the ground. Each participant will be given 5 balls. A basket will be placed approximately 4 to 5 meters in front of them.
  4. The number of balls successfully pocketed by each participant will be recorded.
  5. This round will continue until the required number of participants is selected. For now, the target range is between 32 and 40 players.
  6. The numbers of the winners will be noted down, or they will be given another ribbon as a sign of qualification.

Musical Chair Sitting

  1. Depending on the number of remaining participants, it will be decided on the spot how many will be taken for the 5th round.
  2. This round is more or less based on the traditional musical chairs game. For now, 16 participants are to be selected for the final round.
  3. Chairs will be arranged in a circular formation, and the number of chairs will be one less than the number of participants.
  4. Participants will move around the chairs, and when the music stops, the participant left standing will be eliminated.
  5. Sitting before the music stops will result in instant elimination.

Rock Paper Scissors Minus One

  1. This will be a tournament-style showdown.
  2. Two players will sit facing each other. A volunteer will ask them to turn around and select two cards from a set of three: Rock, Paper, and Scissors.
  3. They will then face each other. The Gamemaster will shout, “Rock, Paper, Scissors!” and both participants will place their two chosen cards face down on the table.
  4. The Gamemaster will then say “Minus One!” Both participants will remove one of their cards and reveal the remaining one. The first participant to reach 3 points will advance to the next round.
  5. The final match will be played to 7 points, and the third-place match will be played to 5 points.
  6. The Gamemaster may assign the knockout rounds to volunteers and organizers, and be present only during the final and third-place matches.
